When I started Bkwyrm.Net in 1997, the Internet was new and aside from alt.magick and it's various spinoffs, there really didn't seem to be much out there in the way of actual book reviews - real reviews, not just breathless accolades. I wrote some, collected some, solicited some, and eventually wound up with lots and lots of well-written, intelligent book reviews of good, bad, and middling books. I wrote essays, read essays, kept a sort of blog, met lots of people, used IRC entirely too much, and had about as much fun with Bkwyrm.Net as, I think, anyone's ever had with a website.
It's 2008 now, and it's a lot easier to get honest reviews of occult books now. My life is significantly different - I graduated with my MLIS, got married, left my job, worked as a freelancer, bought a house, and had a kid. Somewhere in there, I stopped reviewing books. And a while back, I took down Bkwyrm.Net with the intention of moving it to a new server. Despite my good intentions, the site hasn't gone back up, and probably never will.
If you had reviews on Bkwyrm.Net, please contact me directly and I can provide your reviews to you in .txt or .html format. If you want to just say hi, I'm happy to hear from you.

P.S. If you're looking for a good occult book review site, you could go over to Spiral Nature. And if you're looking for someone to do proofreading and editing, I still do that.
